There you have it.....the race has begun and all is well, the sun is shining and there is some wind......just; of course no one expecting a downwind start but mother always told me not to trust a man with a beard. The wind is now on the nose as we make our way out of the solent being overtaken by all the big boys as we potter as best we can, still morale is high and we have no mutineers yet on bucaneer. The skipper is still upset that the tracker didn't break in the night prompting a visit from Clementine! Bon Chance all. Bucaneer Blogger OUT.
As the wind picked up at 1650hrs we started to cruise pass Great Scot IV, a considerably bigger boat than ours, an exclaimation was heard: 'Is your engine on?'. 'No, you are just slower than us!' came the retort. A frantic five minutes followed on the scot and off they zoomed. Bucaneer Blogger OUT
