Exposure Marine to sponsor the Crew Bar in Plymouth
Exposure Marine, the pioneers of LED technology for powerful, compact, lightweight marine torches is also offering all competitors in the Rolex Fastnet Race a variety of opportunities to win what Mike Golding describes as 'the ultimate sailing torches'. In particular, Exposure is supporting an initiative to reward the best race blogger, who can bring alive from the rail, their own Fastnet experiences.
Eddie Warden Owen, RORC's Chief Executive, says: "We are delighted to welcome aboard Exposure Marine as an Official Partner to the Rolex Fastnet Race. Exposure is a premium manufacturer and their integration of the latest technologies for their marine safety searchlights and torches is very relevant for the Race. We have some big plans for the Plymouth Yacht Haven Race Village and Exposure's support helps us create an even better experience for competitors when they reach Plymouth."
"We are very excited about this announcement with the Rolex Fastnet Race. It is such an iconic event in British offshore sailing with an incredible heritage. Exposure's heritage is from the British cycling world and we are familiar with supporting major cycling events, across many disciplines. The Fastnet has such a wide appeal for so many people, from those who have worked hard to compete in the event for the first time, to those who use the race as a critical training platform in their Ocean racing campaigns. We look forward to meeting many of the competitors in Plymouth, " says Tom Harrop, Exposure Marine Brand Manager.
