We had a decent start on the leeward end of the line just to weather of Abu Dahbi. We worked the Isle of wight side of the race course sailing out the solent while Ran worked the mainland side. We met up again half way up the solent with us being about 1 boat length ahead. We tacked on them a few more times and were about 3 lengths ahead as we go out the solent. we are now beating in about 17 knots of breeze up taking shifts and keeping in touch with Ran. Looks like we will be beating all night and seas are currently building.
