As the competitors round the rock and start to head back for Cherbourg, they will be looking forward to arriving in Cherbourg where the Rolex Fastnet Race Village is awaiting and buzzing with activity.
The Rolex Fastnet Race Village is the home of the RORC Finish Office and Media Centre, located next to the marina. The Race Village is open daily from 1000hrs onwards. Public Days and Pontoon access on Monday 17th and Friday 21st July – please request hi-vis jackets from the security guard at the top of the ramp and he will explain the procedure and book you in for the dock walk.
There are toilets in the Race Village and a shower and toilet block is located near the marina, a short walk from the Race Village (to the west) – simply follow the signs.
The Crew Bar will be located in the Race Village and will be running 24hrs a day. 2023 Race Village layout as below;
